Pre-checks: pulley thread, keyways, journal diameter, dowel holes, flywheel gland nut thread, and alignment. Depending on the above: threads re-tapped, dowel holes are re - drilled (end play on crank adjusted to standard), straightened, re-ground to O.E. tolerances, oil holes are re-chamfered, and journals are polished to O.E. surface roughness specification.
